Sera
Sera hasn’t always been our cat. She was five when we brought her home on April 7, 2003 from the Humane Society. She was so irresistable that she only spent 10 days at the shelter before we got her. She has aliases–she used to go by Julie and Serenade (she likes to talk a lot). We have always figured, based on her intense skittishness around plastic bags, that she was traumatized during her stint with the CIA and was entered into the agent relocation program. We helped her keep her cover by shortening her name to Sera.
Although you can see in the picture that she is an avid cyclist, we were unable to obtain the proper visas for her in several countries, so Sera is going to have to keep in touch by reading the blog like everybody else. We are training her right now to use the keyboard and mouse to make blog entries of her own, so she can tell us what she’s been doing….getting a cat to do anything other than swat at a mouse is more difficult than you might think.
Here is a link to a video that will serve as a reference for her caretaker for how she likes her petting–extra heavy!
