Easy does it

After four days of biking in a row, we needed a little rest—which was provided by a little community on Santa Maria Bay. We camped at another RV park, having pitched our tent just meters from the dunes. During our rest day, we did some laundry, read a little, took a nap, and tried (unsuccessfully) to live off the land by going clamming. The RV park was also beach access for several fishermen, who drove their boats (with wheels) right up to the water before going out to sea. All in all it was a good stay, with a couple of sunsets directly into the ocean.
We’re in El Rosario now, and tomorrow we’ll start into the Desert National Park of Baja. Tomorrow will be a big climb up to the mesa, and then we’ll be up there (500-700 m or so) for a week before descending into Guerrero Negro and Baja Sur.

Hi Matt and Cindy! I can finally catch up on your adventures. I am in the Hector INTERNATIONAL airport trying to get the heck outta Fargo-but delayed. Yeah Fargo is still freakin cold, not missing much. I hope you are taking lots of pictures so I am live the trip with you. I love looking at the satellite maps.
Keep cool/warm/dry and safe!
Love
Becky
